The JB4 tuner installs between your cars sensors and it's DME/ECU (computer) and manipulates vehicle performance through these connections making your vehicle much faster. Web21 feb 2024 · I am having a bit of a weird issue with my 2009 E92 335i N54 DCT that i cannot for the life of me get to the bottom of. it started 2 weeks ago. ... the issue im having happens in all JB4 Maps, in all Gears, and regardless of whether i am using my Meth or not. I have done the following to try troubleshoot. WebMap 3: Map three allows the JB4 to be the methanol controller working as a fail safe cutting boost if lack of meth flow is detected. You will require a Coolingmist FSB to get this working. Map 4: This is a stock map but with JB4 logging ability. It is also the starter map for cars that are running flash tunes and are stacking the JB4.

As far as reliability goes it will be fine. However, make sure the car is running in perfect condition and all maintenance is done before tuning it.
